#Reverseosmosis ( #RO ) is a process for deionizing or purifying water by forcing it through a semi-permeable membrane at high pressure. The reverse osmosis (RO) #membrane is a thin layer of filtering material that removes contaminants and dissolved salts from water. A polyester support web, a microporous #polysulfone interlayer, and an ultra-thin polyamide barrier layer make up the three layers. These #membranes can be employed in industrial processes as well as in the production of potable water. The RO unit uses thin-film composite (TFC) #polyamide membranes in spiral-wound configuration. RO membranes are also used in medical systems to provide high-quality #water #purification for #hemodialysis. RO medical is centrally monitored with automatic alarms, offering high operational reliability and built-in security. Development of such advanced products is expected to drive market revenue growth.
